Hi, this is a first query to the big wide world to see if there are any musicians out there interested in creating a Stones tribute act ( yes there are lots out there but most of them are so-so and the gigs are available, especially the cruise line market) The band themselves are now in their 70’s so age is not an issue but I would be more interested to hear from older musicians for continuity…I am well in my 40’s myself.
I am an experienced front-man vocalist who wants to create a high-quality tribute so am putting feelers out to see if there is any interest.

Hi. I’ve only just seen this so apologies if I’ve missed out. How as the response been? Where are you based? I’m on the last three dates if a nationwide tour with a RS tribute band but I’m not sure I’ll be playing again when it resumes in November so I’m interested in a similar venture. Thanks. Ian.
Hi Ian…response was….non-existent! Which was surprising as I know there is demand out there! Maybe have been my phrasing or this site or just lack of interest but anyway….it’s still a good plan and keep in touch if you are still keen. I am this end…am London based and base always makes a difference of course. Miles.
Hi Miles, did you ever get your band up and running? I’m near T.Wells and play guitar in a covers band based in Sussex. I’m a huge Stones fan, familiar with all their songs and have authentic guitars for Keith and Ronnie. Do get in touch if you’re still interested, Chris.
