Hello all!
My name is Gavin and I am a singer/songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri, USA. I am going to be planning a UK and Ireland tour for Oct 23 – Nov 14.
I am seeking some on ground assistance to perhaps paying gigs with either other acts, or potentially venues and bars I can reach out to and contact.
I have never been to the UK, but I believe that is the market I want to dive into due to my story telling type tunes similar to Ryan Adams, Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, Bob Dylan, Noel Gallagher, and Coldplay..
I am seeking some counsel or at least a point in the right direction for these cities:
Dublin
Cork
Edinburgh
Glasgow
London (2 venues)
Brighton
Manchester
Liverpool
Newcastle
Nottingham (I believe I have a set gig here, but never hurts.)
I am trying to iron out all of the housing situations as well as venues.
I would like to make some money doing these gigs, enough for travel expenses at least. I can fill 3 hours of material of originals and covers..
I am mainly wanting to tour my original music, which you can hear all on my website, www.Gavin-M.com .
Below I will include a video of what my sound is like with the newer material, however I can play many upbeat tunes as well, but my newer stuff chronicled a tough time in my life but my sound drastically varies based on what mood and crowd I am playing to.
Any help at all, even a name to call would help.
I am willing to trade gigs here in St. Louis for anyone as well as give them a place to crash when here.
I am just seeking people who are avid music lovers and concert goers in each city to potentially help me locate good venues for my sound and a decent paying wage for an American in the UK/Ireland.
