Free From Gravity are really going places in 2015 and they're looking for new recruits to join them as the band gigs across the UK and beyond.
Recognised as pretty much the hardest working band in the region with over 50 gigs between June and November, they are regulars at the South coasts major venues and festivals with appearances Talking Heads in Southampton, The Cellars in Eastney, Brixton Jamm and GosFest to their credit. Fresh from a recent tour in Spain, the band came home to invitations to perform at several Festivals including shows in Orkney, Glasgow, North West England, London and a return tour of Spain.
Not one to rest on achievements singer/ songwriter Vince explains;
"It's all about going forwards with the band well established locally and to an extent regionally along with a foray into national and international presence. Now it's time to step up to the next level, cementing our place regionally and on the National festival circuit. This will give us the platform to accept the offers that the bigger promoters, events and shows are talking to us about. With this in mind, I need musicians that live in the area - to make practices easier and more frequent along with the right professional attitude. Free From Gravity has spent the last couple of years making in roads that any serious musician, that has time, talent and the drive to make it can benefit from".
Free From Gravity's diary is filling up rapidly and Vince is determined to develop the band into one that is both representative of the Portsmouth area and capable of playing at the highest level.
