Brass players and drummers needed to join the Brass United Social Club, an international, modern and social street brass band in London!
We play arrangements of modern pop songs and classic party-starters at gigs, concerts, events and parties across London and the UK. Our band is international, with five different nationalities so far, and was inspired by French fanfares de rues – street brass bands. We created the band in December 2017 and so far we are 16 musicians between 20- and 40-years-old, with an average around 28!
Our current lineup includes Trumpets, Trombones, Euphoniums, Saxophones, Flute players, Sousaphones and a drummer. However, we’d like to expand our numbers so are on the lookout for:
– An Alto Saxophone player
– A Trombone player
– Flute players
– A Euphonium player
– Another drummer
We are London-based and rehearse on Thursdays after work near Elephant and Castle. We also have group trips a few times a year and try and gig regularly.
