am looking for a Double bassist to form a trio. It will be a working trio so we will be relatively commercial. However, the basic style is jazzy, soulful hip hop cover versions of British alternative pop/rock since 1978.
I’ve been out of the music scene for a few years but I’ve been nurturing this project for a while and I’m keen to take it to the next level.

Hi Sound interesting where are you based? I am from South Wales play in a sextet (lighter side of jazz) and also play now and again in a trio playing The American Songbook (we play same kind of music in Sextet I did used to play DB with them and still do but not in the regular gig in cafe jazz as difficulty unloading at the gig I also play in a LOUD community band from Cardiff called
Wonderbrass (Eletric bass with the WBs ) so I guess I with also working now and then my time is quite taken up still, by the way i won`t see 63 again!
