The Royal Signals Northern Band is an Army Reserve band based in Darlington. We are currently looking for new members. You don’t have to live in Darlington – we have members from as far away as York, Skipton, Northumberland, Nottingham and even Suffolk – the main thing is that you are willing to attend rehearsals in Darlington on a Tuesday evening.
The band provides a part time income and is flexible around day jobs and home lives.
In particular, we are looking for the following instruments – percussion, oboe, flute, saxophone, and French horn – but applications for all woodwind, brass and percussion players will be considered.
Applicants should be able to play to Grade 7 standard and be aged 18-49.
